CLICKERBy Michael Malagon

YOUR PHONE. YOUR TV.

Privacy policy

Effective October 28, 2026

Clicker is a local-network TV remote provided by Michael Malagon. It does not require a Clicker account, and the app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

TV connections and commands

The app searches your local network for compatible TVs and sends remote commands, navigation, and text directly to the TV you select. Michael Malagon does not receive or store those commands, text, device-discovery results, or pairing credentials on a developer-operated server.

What stays on your phone

Clicker saves TV names and addresses, device identifiers used to recognize a TV, your preferences, and pairing information needed to reconnect. Pairing private keys, certificates, and TV authorization tokens use the operating system’s secure storage. Device metadata and preferences use local app storage.

Remove a TV from Clicker’s saved-TV list to delete its saved pairing credentials. Use this in-app removal before uninstalling if you want to remove saved secure-storage items; operating systems may retain some secure items after an app is uninstalled.

Permissions

You can manage permissions through your phone’s settings.

Your TV and streaming services

Your TV, its voice service, and any streaming apps you open have their own privacy practices. A TV may process or forward voice input, searches, and other commands to its service providers. Consult those providers’ privacy policies for their handling of that information.

Support messages

If you contact support@malagon.systems, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to and resolve your request. Support correspondence is retained as needed for that purpose. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence at the same address.

Browser remote and computer companion

The hosted browser remote starts in an explicitly labelled interactive preview. For real TV control, its computer companion runs locally and sends commands directly to the selected TV. TV addresses, pairing codes, and commands are not relayed through the Malagon server. The initial companion keeps pairing credentials in memory and clears them when it closes. Browser appearance preferences are stored in that browser.

This website

This support website does not add advertising or analytics trackers. Its hosting provider processes standard network information, such as an IP address, to deliver and operate the website.
